Job Title: Procurement AssistantJob Description
This role supports the Procurement organization with a focus on cataloguing, processing orders from purchase requisitions, and ensuring accuracy and timely processing. You will communicate clearly with vendors and our Maintenance, Repair & Operations (MRO) Warehouses. Additional responsibilities include setting up and updating procurement data on systems and assisting with various projects as needed, under the guidance of the Shared Services Procurement Supervisor.
Hard Skills
Admin and customer service skills
Experience in purchasing department and with purchase orders (POs)
Knowledge of the Procurement Process or procurement activities
Experience with industrial parts or knowledge of industrial terminology
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Experience with SAP (highly important)
Soft Skills
Clear communication skills (in person, email, phone)
Attention to detail
Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team
Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Lithia, Florida and some days remote.
Work Environment
Site Location: FishHawk. Work Schedule: Normal Business Hours – Hybrid. In-office on Thursdays and potentially more days based on needs. Equipment provided includes a laptop, monitors, keyboard, and mouse for both office and home use. Initial contract for 6 months with possible extension.
