Service Coordinator – Field Services (3273)

Job Statement:Primary function is to monitor In-Service/I-Dispatcher/Mobile TC systems. Coordinate and ensure all orders are issued to the field and are properly coded.
Responsibilities:
1. Monitors all shift orders; makes adjustments as required and advises Field Services Supervisor when workloads need to be redistributed within department or redirected to other departments.
2. Ensures audits are sent to Customer Accounts Investigators.
3. Monitors exception reports for error and takes appropriate action to ensure orders process through the system properly.
4. Monitors In-Service/I-Dispatcher and Mobile TC software. Works with IT and Field Service to resolve issues with computer software and communication equipment.
5. Complies monthly report for the department, preparing graphs and charts to represent each item.
6. Reviews the payment file from the previous day along with monitoring payments made throughout the day from pay agents such as Western Union, SpeedPay, and Convenience Pay to ensure accounts are restored.
7. Monitors two-way radio and assists Field Service Representatives. Coordinates request from the Electric, Gas and Water Departments.
8. Communicates information to Customer Service office personnel, Field Service Representatives, Electric Meter Shop and various Gas, Water, and Electric Operations Departments on sets, removes, disconnects, reconnects, audits, weather, system issues and service verifications, etc.
9. Review service orders for zero dollar cut, multiple orders at same premise and orders cancelled in error.
10. Work closely with the Electric Meter Shop/Electric Operations regarding cut tickets for bolt-in services, weather head and tap-up problems.
11. Performs routing clerical task, including typing, filing, and entering data, answering telephones and ordering supplies.
12. Follow up on service orders that have been left hot for the new customers to ensure new customer has applied. Make judgement to key request to turn off or leave hot.
13. Generate and download cut orders that have been cancelled due to a payment or installment plan. Determine if reconnect order needs to be worked ASAP or assigned to 2nd shift.
14. Enters work time into SAP for all Field Service Representatives.
15. Review and process meter replacement report.
16. Performs additional duties as assigned.
