Job Title: RME – Control Systems Lead

Job Description

The RME – Control Systems Lead will troubleshoot and modify software programs for material handling control systems, including PLC/PC controllers and industrial networks such as Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Profibus, motor control systems, servo drives, frequency drives, and electrical distribution systems. Responsibilities include industrial electrical hands-on experience and troubleshooting, interpreting and modifying mechanical and electrical drawings, acting as second level escalation support, and monitoring material handling equipment metrics. You will partner with facilities/operations for system performance issues within the assigned Fulfillment Center (FC) and similar FC systems. Additionally, the role involves coordinating new technology installations, communicating technical issues and project timelines, and training and developing CSTs on control systems concepts and procedures.

This is a contract position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Maryville, Tennessee.

Work Environment

Large distribution facility with high-speed, automated equipment, mostly with robotic components. Candidates need to be okay with their performance being tracked by data and numbers. You must be comfortable walking 10,000 steps per day. The position requires openness to any 10-hour shift and will be based out of the control room in the facility. This position will also be on-call at times should any pressing issues arise at the facility.
