About the Role
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
The Material Handler supplies the material to the production lines and shipping area and ensures that materials are accurately entered into CMS and delivered on time.
Your Responsibilities

To organize and stock all material requirements for production operations utilizing First In/First Out.
Ensure compliance with SWI for delivery routes.
Check all full, acceptable totes, racks and bins for proper bar code labels.
Scan and load parts to the next stock location and ensure the accuracy of inventory in CMS.
Count and label all unused parts and return to the stock area.
Inspect/Accept parts per work instruction/ process book/ procedures to ensure correct quantity, quality, and racking.
Recommend proposals for improving production, processes, systems productivity, and work environment.
Aware of Safety, Health & Environmental policies.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or GED
2 years relevant work experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to work well with others and build positive relationships
Ability to meet production requirements
Ability to comprehend written instructions.
Physical Demands:
Continuous walking or standing
Lift 50 lbs.
