Software Engineer Remote

Job Summary: TSG Federal is hiring two Software Engineers to join our team in support of the US Army Corps of Engineers. This position is 100% remote and hiring ASAP.

Required Technology Skills: Proven plug-in development experience. 2-3 years of C# software development experience.

Nice-to-Have Skills: Revit experience. Experience with DevSecOps, STIGs, and RMF.

Day to Day Responsibilities: Utilizing Revit as a Building Information Modeling (BIM) software developed by Autodesk. Used by architects, engineers and construction professionals to design, model and document building and infrastructure in 3D. This role involves a mix of technical, security, and user management tasks, ensuring the CBTC Revit Plug-In is secure, functional, and user-friendly. Tasks include: User Access: Enable public access via username and password. Ensure internal users can access the CBTC Revit Plug-In using a US Govt Common Access Card (CAC). Security Compliance: Ensure the plug-in passes ERDC/USACE Fortify scans. Comply with ASD-STIG and ot her relevant STIGs. Maintain security artifacts per RMF for ATO. Library Management: Ensure no unapproved libraries are used. Provide a list of libraries and dependencies. Ownership and Usage: Ensure the end product is owned by USACE-ERDC-CBTC. Restrict internet access to CBTC server/database/website. Avoid licenses requiring annual fees. Compatibility: Ensure functionality in Revit 2023 and 2024. Ensure operation on USACE Corps Net, U.S. govt agency networks, and AEC contractors public networks. File Management: Manage multiple file types (PDF, RVT, RFA, etc.). Enable bulk content upload (8-10 GB max). Allow saving and reusing search settings. Tagging and Comments: Enable filtering by multiple tags. Allow creation, deletion, and bulk assignment of tags. Facilitate submission and management of comments. Content Managem ent: Display thumbnail previews. Enable downloading multiple pieces of content. Provide progress indicators for operations. Track statistical usage of the CMS. Document Reader: Support various file types (PDF, DOC, XLS, etc.). Allow minimizing/maximizing the reader window. Provide an option to open documents outside the plug-in. User Guide: Provide a user guide for version 1.0.0. Provide a comprehensive user guide for the plug-in. Offer support for document viewing and management within the plug-in. Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the usage statistics of the plug-in. Ensure efficient performance, with search results returned promptly.
