Operations Supervisor- Shift: 1PM-Close Mon-Fri. This role includes Salary, Bonus and Annual Shift Differential.
Job Summary: Supervise, lead, coach, and develop a team of DC associates to meet client KPIs and achieve company goals. Problem-solve daily challenges, balance workflow, implement and monitor the performance development of team. Maintain and report departmental measures. Ensure that cGMP & safety compliance are being met. Monitor operations equipment and work tools. Participate in continuous improvement activities while collaborating with cross -functional teams.

- Exercise effective employee and labor relations strategies to manage Employee concerns and performance related issues
- Effective interpretation and facilitation of local collective agreement to foster relationship between management and the union
- Coordinate and leverage internal/ external business partners and units to achieve McKessons vision of Customer First
- Employ Lean Six Sigma methodology to optimize operational processes
- Implement change management strategies and plans that maximize employee adoption and usage and minimize resistance
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in a leadership role; experience leading teams members covered under a collective agreement considered an asset (this can include Team Leader experience)
- Prior experience with mentoring and developing staff; committed to helping people succeed
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement with fundamental understanding of change management
Additional Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree an asset; Business/ Operations Management, Supply chain management or related field
- Ability to capitalize on peoples abilities – right people in right roles with the right responsibility
- Can provide honest feedback and respectfully challenge others
- Able to make difficult (sometimes unpopular) decisions when required
- Demonstrated passion aligned with McKessons corporate vision, leading with the employee in mind
- Demonstrated ability to adapt communication skills to effectively influence different audiences
- Actively seeks opportunities to build and maintain relationships both in and out of business unit
- Labor Relations experience an asset
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and make decisions under pressure
- Experienced with utilizing Business Intelligence data to determine business decisions that deliver and exceed expected performance
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKessons pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $52,700 – $87,900
