WSP USA is actively seeking a Senior Civil Roadway Engineer / Project Manager with strong experience in transportation infrastructure projects for our Lexington, KY or Louisville, KY offices . Your Impact
Lead projects with all aspects of Transportation Design from conceptual and preliminary engineering to final design
Provide coordination with other design disciplines including: Planning, Environmental, Roadway, Structures, Hydraulics/Drainage and Traffic
Planning, scheduling, and coordinating staffing levels needed for projects
Manage projects and maintain schedule, budget, and profitability of assigned projects, overseeing preparation of plans.
Provide guidance and mentor junior staff
Develop / Utilize relationships with clients to achieve WSPs business development goals
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
P.E. registration in Kentucky or ability to obtain in 6 months
10 years experience in transportation and infrastructure projects
Good technical writing, analytical and communication skills
Experience managing junior design staff
Experience preparing, managing and reviewing project deliverables including planning, design and construction documents, project reports, environmental studies, cost estimates, scopes of work, proposals, etc.
Demonstrated experience with state and local governments, contractors, transportation agencies, etc
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSPs Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
Proven track record upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSPs health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Preferred Qualifications
Experience having led and mentored a team
Experience in MicroStation OpenRoads
