Regal Rexnords Aerospace Solutions Division is a leading supplier in the Aerospace industry. Our Precision Gear site, located in Twinsburg, OH is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager reporting to the Plant Manager. This individual will provide superior tactical and strategic thinking to process improvements that drive cost and quality performance while support external and internal customers. This growing site has approximately 65 Associates, and $14 Million in revenues.
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
This position requires the applicant to be a US Person with a US permanent residence (US Citizen or Green Card holder).
Bachelors Degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Technology, or another technical-related field.
7 years of manufacturing experience in metal cutting, grinding, and machining.
Excellent project management capabilities from idea generation to implementation.
Ability to develop teams and associates for greater business success.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven experience in identifying, selecting, and implementing new capital equipment to support business needs.
Team player with the ability to collaborate with other functions.
Lean manufacturing knowledge with practical application experience.
Experience with ERP systems in manufacturing functions.
Drive for Continuous Improvement.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse work environment.
Proven track record of utilizing sound problem-solving skills and root cause analysis for metric-driven performance improvements.
Self-motivated individual with the ability to lead through the change management cycle.
Other duties as required.
May require availability on nights or weekends based on business needs.
Preferred Education / Experience / Skills:
Advanced degree is a plus.
CNC machining experience.
Prior experience with team leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
