Grounds Support Technician

The Grounds Support Technician, working under direct supervision, is responsible to complete assigned maintenance and care of grounds and courses by operating a range of equipment and tools, including but not limited to mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, string-line trimmers, blowers, sweepers, and specialized grounds equipment. The role also performs general landscaping duties including mowing, raking leaves, planting flowers and pond maintenance and irrigation system monitoring and responds timely and professionally to customer requests and complies with all safety practices and procedures.
Completes assigned maintenance and care of grounds and courses by operating a range of equipment and tools, including but not limited to mowers, utility vehicles, tractors, string-line trimmers, blowers, sweepers, and specialized grounds equipment.
Performs general landscaping duties including mowing, raking leaves, planting flowers and pond maintenance and irrigation system monitoring.
Responds timely and professionally to customer requests and complies with all safety practices and procedures.
Performs basic to moderately complex plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and mechanical repair and preventative maintenance work.
Conducts preventive/predictive maintenance processes on equipment and responds to emergency maintenance calls to expedite repairs.
Works with vendors and external contractors to evaluate and schedule equipment repairs.
Performs daily course setup tasks such as changing cups and tee service, as directed.
Participates in snow removal operations and operates necessary equipment for snow and ice removal.
Maintains the Companys high standards of quality, production, cooperation, and service for employees, guests, and customers.
Adheres to all OSHA and Company safety/training/certification standards within the specified timeframes.
0-2 years of experience in landscaping and commercial contract maintenance industry, or a related field.
High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) and/or commensurate experience.
