Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Inside Sales Support to lead and manage our inside sales support team, overseeing more than $200 million in annual revenue. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership qualities, a deep understanding of sales and operational processes, and the ability to drive substantial growth and success. This is an active position that demands a versatile, proactive professional who is both committed and accountable to customer success.
This client-oriented position supervises the Sales Support team, offering assistance to both external and internal sales account managers. This support enables the team to reach productivity levels that align with the companys vision and values. This teams primary goal is to enable an excellent customer service experience.
Scope:
Leadership and Team Management: Provide visionary leadership and direction to the inside sales team, fostering a high-performance culture that exceeds revenue targets.
Revenue Management: Assist in overseeing and managing the attainment of sales revenue exceeding $200 million annually, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to enhance market penetration, customer acquisition, and overall profitability.
Performance Monitoring: Establish performance metrics and regularly analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous growth.
Customer Relationship Management : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, alliances, marketing, and delivery service, to enhance the overall sales strategy and execution.
Responsibilities:
Work with Sales and Delivery management to ensure customer data is timely and accurate.
Provide career development opportunities for team members.
Collaborate with account managers and sales management to compile and validate forecasts.
Work closely with the operations team weekly to reconcile and forecast deferred revenue.
Lead business requirements gathering for ERP and internal quoting systems.
Establish distribution relationships to ensure modern programs and execution plans.
Use various manufacturer promotions and contracts to enable client growth.
Meet or surpass team and individual revenue and profit sales targets
Maintain vendor and market certifications in support of client and business GTM.
Oversee project coordination, including deployments and inter-departmental meetings.
Compile administrative reports regarding commissions and back orders.
Contribute to maintaining the department guidebook.
Participate in all company cross-selling efforts.
Qualifications:
Experience: Proven track record of at least 10 years in sales leadership roles, preferably within a large organization managing substantial revenue streams.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to and influence senior leadership effectively.
Technical Proficiency: Skilled in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Education: Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing sales teams.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Customer Focus: Deep commitment to understanding and meeting customer needs.
