Electrical Technician
AUTOMATION SYSTEMS & DESIGN
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
– Reads and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
– Confers with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.
– Recommends design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.
– Specifies system components or direct modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.
– Researches, designs, evaluates, installs, operates, and maintains mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.
– Build Panel/Control Panels (wiring/assemble electrical components). Assemble electrical components to equipment. Wire Automated/Robotic Machinery. Keep account of all components for panel/s.
– Involved in equipment installation at customer.
– 15- 20% travel.
– Conforms to ISO standards of company.

Experience and Requirements:
– Bachelors degree in Engineering or Physics or equivalent plus four years of related experience.
– Experience with AutoCad and PLC preferred.
Physical Demands
– While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee must be capable of bending, reaching, crouching, and climbing.
Work Environment:
– The employee may be exposed to extreme hot or cold temperatures, heights, and loud machinery or equipment. The employee may be exposed to hazardous chemicals.
