Job Title: HPC Field Supervisor
Reports to: Activity & Training Center (ATC) Area Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (hourly)
Salary range: Not less than $16, based on experience
Company status: Permanent Full-Time
Essential Duties:
• Manage all homes and ensure satisfaction, coverage, and compliance with all Goodwill of South
Central Ohio policies and Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) rules in effect.
• Assist the ATC Area Manager in matching direct service professionals (DSPs) to care for individuals
with whom their skills and disposition are best suited.
• Promote Goodwill within the community to enhance its public image and to obtain support for the
furtherance of our mission. Demonstrate commitment to the highest standards possible in
relationships with internal and external associates.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure DSPs are scheduled in BID appropriately to cover homes, providing coverage personally when
necessary for homes without HPC with Choice.
• Ensure DSPs obtain all required training and certifications to remain compliant. This includes new hire training in the homes where they will work and ongoing training requirements.
• Remain compliant on personal required training.
• Remain accessible 24/7 to address DSP and needs of individuals.
• Ensure staff is completing all required documentation in BID or otherwise in the home.
• Complete monthly documentation of MUIs and UIs.
• Ensure documentation in BID is being inputted as required by reviewing goals, in/out punches, Med
Tracker, and MUI/UI incidents. Ensure DSPs also are clocking in/out of Paycom.
• Develop and maintain a professional rapport with all HPC staff, individuals being served, HPC
Coordinators and guardians. Always relay any issues and/or concerns to the ATC Area Manager.
• Know and adhere to Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) rules and regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Follow all Goodwill of South Central Ohio policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Ability to work with all types of people, especially those with disabilities. A self-starter who can work
independently and as a team player. Must be able to follow instructions, have good attendance, and
deal with stressful situations.
• Ability to communicate clearly and accurately by phone, email, and in person.
• Good time management skills and flexibility to cover shifts when needed and promptly address issues
at the time they arise.
• Demonstrated proficiency with computers and ability to quickly learn software used by Goodwill,
such as Paycom and BID.
• Must attain all required DODD certifications.
• Good organization and time-management skills.
• Pleasant personality and neat appearance.
• Must pass Goodwill-approved drug test. Will be subject to the companys random drug testing
procedures.
• Must pass a Goodwill-approved criminal background check and not appear on any government
registries that track abusers or other such offenses.
Education and or Experience:
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum two years of administrative/management experience working with the DD population. This
experience must be verifiable and in good standing with the boards of DD in our service region.
• Associate or bachelors degree in case management or social work preferred.
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to reach above head, bend from waist, and lift up-to 50 pounds. Accommodations will
be made if the person makes use of a wheelchair or other mobility device.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
• Current state drivers license, proof of current auto insurance coverage, clean driving record, and reliable
transportation required.
