Program Director, Make Respect Visible

Job Description:
The Program Director, Make Respect Visible is responsible for leading the university Make Respect Visible ( MRV ) Initiative. This position will direct and coordinate existing and new programs that affirm OHIO’s commitment to Make Respect Visible, including the MRV Ambassadors program, civil dialogue opportunities, and Make Respect Visible Week. This position will also work closely with University Communication and Marketing to support the MRV visual branding campaign.
Job Responsibilities Include:
MRV Strategy, Leadership, and Programming:
Creates standards for Make Respect Visible initiatives
Leads assessment of MRV of outcomes
Direct development, implementation, and evaluation of Make Respect Visible programming, including complex and specialized programs
Plan and coordinate annual Make Respect Visible Week
Liaison with campus partners to support MRV initiatives outside of the Division of D&I
Serve as MRV subject matter for the university community and lead campus MRV committee
DLA Ambassadors Program:
Provide leadership of and supervision to the Diversity Leadership Ambassadors
Recruit and train, and supervise student Diversity Leadership Ambassadors
Coordinate ambassador presentation requests, assignments, and assessment
Develop and update DLA ambassador presentation content
Make Respect Visible ( MRV ) Dialogue and Civil Discourse Program:
Direct the campus wide MRV Dialogue Program
Recruit and train dialogue student, faculty, and staff facilitators
Plan and coordinate dialogue opportunities for faculty, staff, and students
Campus Climate Concerns:
Facilitate and manage the Campus Climate Concerns reporting process
Lead the Campus Climate Concerns team
Coordinate follow up outreach and support, in response to Campus Climate Concerns reports.
Develop and coordinate campus-wide bystander intervention training
MRV Marketing and Communication:
Partner with University Communication and Marketing to manage the MRV website
Partner with University Communication and Marketing to refresh the MRV Marketing campaign.
In partnership with VP for D&I, organize and send out monthly MRV newsletter to the campus community
Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Education, Social Services, Psychology or related field
Minimum of 3 years of related work experience
Less than 12 months of supervisory or managerial responsibilities
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctoral degree

Advertised Salary:
The target salary range is $58,972 to $78,139 commensurate with the selected candidate’s education and experience while considering internal equity.
