CNC Machinist & Programmer – $25-30/Hour

Job Description

Machinists will set up and operate CNC mills and lathes in a job shop environment.

Responsibilities include setting up tooling, adjusting speeds and feeds, program edits, offsets, changeovers, and fixtures.

Machinists will run first piece and conduct first piece inspections on parts.

They will measure parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and zolars.

The machines operated include mills, lathes, and mill-turn from 3-axis to 5-axis machines. Candidates will be cross-trained on various machinery.

Machinists will read G&M Codes and make necessary edits to machines, read blueprints, and check parts accordingly.

Run times will vary from a few minutes to a few hours, offering a dynamic, non-repetitive work experience.
