As a Project Management Lead, in a Shared Services capacity supporting the Insurance organization, you will manage all aspects of cross-functional, varying degrees of complexity programs and/or projects to deliver sustainable business outcomes on time and within budget. Your business outcomes focus fosters flexibility in how to achieve the desired results in the most efficient way possible. You will utilize structured and organized ways of working to consistently deliver high quality results yet embrace business agility to adapt plans when necessary. Working in a team-based environment, you will use influencing skills to hold others accountable for their parts while also offering suggestions for continual improvement. Your expertise will enable you to participate and contribute to the Project Management and Change Management Centers of Excellence.

The Project Management Lead will work closely with business owners/project sponsors to understand the scope of a project, create a charter with defined milestones to develop an implementation approach and project plan. The candidate will secure resources by identifying impacted stakeholders, facilitate meetings, and coordinate the activities to achieve business objectives within established timeframes. As a business partner in the implementation of new initiatives, the Project Management Lead is responsible for managing all phases of the project life cycle and includes feasibility (business case), design (planning), build (oversee delivery of planned work), test (quality), deploy (transitional activities), and close (archive documented knowledge).
Apply internal processes and enforce project standards (such as but not limited to Charter, RACI Matrix, Status Reports, Project Plan, Risk/Issues Tracking, etc.)
Prepare and understand information contained in a Business Case
Write deliverables with business owner such as but not limited to Project Charters
Obtain additional knowledge by asking questions, exploring different options, being creative and able to work in the gray
Build plans to manage scope, time, costs, quality, human resources, communications, risks, procurement, & stakeholders
Build and coordinate project plan that drive towards deliverables
Oversee execution of planned work performed by team members
Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills including proficiency in communicating effectively with project stakeholders up to and including executive level leadership to manage stakeholder engagement
Review expectations/deliverables prepared by senior leadership/business owner
Develop clear and concise documentation (i.e., meeting agendas, project documentation, & action items)
Facilitate regular status meetings with business owner/project teams/steering committees
Report progress of project deliverables and milestones on a routine basis
Identify risks and formulate mitigation plans
Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely manner
Conduct procurements and close contracts
Ensure quality reviews are held for all work product
Obtain customer acceptance of project deliverables
Prepare transition activities to sustain results, realize benefits, & complete organizational change management
Document & archive project knowledge
Redisperse team members upon project close
Exhibit organizational skills
Identify the need for Change Management in a project, and advocate for insertion point
Interpret ADKAR model results and barrier points
Leverage regular use of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visio (or comparable process mapping tools)

Role Essentials
Bachelors degree
Minimum of 8 years or more of program or project management experience
At least 5 years of Change Management practitioner experience
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (PMI)
Experience managing enterprise scale programs and/or projects in a fast-paced environment
Ability to manage stakeholders and hold them accountable for deliverables
Ability to facilitate meetings with multiple participants of varying levels capturing relevant information
Ability to build/maintain and execute tasks in a project plan
Ability to conduct interviews and focus group format meetings
Comfortable working on new projects with limited knowledge/expertise of the content and be able to learn quickly to effectively manage the implementation
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
Experience with process mapping tools such as Visio but not limited to this software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrated Executive Presence

Masters degree
Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification (PMI)
Knowledge and/or experience in a healthcare services setting
Knowledge and/or experience in a Shared Services organization
Knowledgeable about SAFe and/or Lean Agile practices
Lean or Six Sigma certification
Experience/knowledge with Smart Sheets
Experience using digital platforms to conduct brainstorming and decision making virtual sessions

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$112,400 – $154,900 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
