General Function
Monitor, analyze, and research output from Exception Based Reporting (EBR) application. This application identifies cash register transaction patterns that may be employee integrity issues, policy violations, or training issues.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Monitors, analyzes, and researches cash register transactions for employee integrity issues.
Identifies internal control issues within point of sale system and offers suggestions.
Detects employee integrity issues or errors within the Hy-Vee Fuel Saver Card and Employee Discount programs.
Provides support to users regarding the use of the EBR application.
Assists law enforcement and other government agencies with external investigations as needed.
Reports to work when scheduled and works expected number of hours.
Performs other job related duties and special projects as required.

Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required, additional education in the criminal justice field preferred. One year or more of retail experience including knowledge of point of sale systems, preferably in a supervisor role. Proven ability in data analysis and interpretation.
Physical Requirements
Visual requirements include: ability to see detail at near range with or without correction.
Must be physically able to perform sedentary work: occasionally lifting or carrying objects no more than 10 pounds, and occasionally standing or walking.
Must be able to perform the following physical activities: kneeling, bending, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
Working Conditions
This position frequently involves a fast work pace in a general office setting. There is frequent pressure to handle multiple tasks in a day and meet deadlines. The duties of this position require occasional overnight travel.
Equipment Used to Perform Job
PC with Microsoft Office programs, calculator, telephone, copier, fax, printer, POS System, Exception Based Reporting Software, Aloha Insight, Retalix Member Services, Visual Labor Management, ACI, and CCTV Systems.
