Job Title: Organic Chemist

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Organic Chemist to join our team. In this role, you will prepare organic compounds according to documented procedures, use a rotovap to remove solvents from chemicals/sand, and purify materials using flash chromatography or thin-layer chromatography (TLC). Additionally, you will employ various wet chemistry techniques such as HPLC, NMR, IR, and UV-vis. You will follow work orders to create chemicals and materials for other departments within the organization and calculate the appropriate amount of chemicals using basic and advanced math.

This is a fully on-site position in Coralville, Iowa.
