Qualifications-

o 6 years of work Experience working in the Actuarial/Insurance domain with hands on development experience

o Proven experience working as a Data Engineer, with expertise in designing and implementing data solutions on Azure/GCP/AWS

o In-depth hands-on experience of DBT

o Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or SQL for data processing and manipulation

o Experience with Data Modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and Dimensional Modelling concepts

o strong understanding of Data Governance, Security, and Compliance requirements in a cloud environment

o Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

o Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team with limited oversight

– Day to Day Activities-

o Translate business requests into technical requirements

o Support designing solutions to enhance reporting and analytic capabilities with Data modeling/Dimensional modelling experience

o Support centralizing and standardizing data from various sources

o Assist with developing automated solutions to streamline processes

o Help transition manual deliverables to automated reports

o Increase transparency, efficiency, and governance of processes

o Maintain robust process and production documentation

o Document changes and follow change management procedures

– Soft Skills-

o Must have Excellent communication interpersonal and listening skills

o strong Insurance/Actuarial Domain Knowledge

o strong ability to work with client stakeholders

o Requirement/Code Review and Work Effort Estimation

o Have sound ability to provide updates and communicate effectively to senior leadership

o DBT/SQL/Python Coding experience

o Modern Data & Analytics Technology such as Azure/AWS
