JOB REQUIREMENTS: Overview Behavioral Health Specialist works as part of
the behavioral health inpatient treatment team providing direct patient
care. While they must have their CNA the Behavioral Health Specialist
has additional education, experience and skill set above that of a CNA.
Behavioral Health Specialist provides individual and group education to
patients and family. Responsibilities Essential Duties and
Responsibilities Obtain vital signs and BGMs as directed by RN. Assist
patients with activities of daily living as needed. Monitoring patient
safety through 15 minute checks, precaution monitoring, patient and room
searches. Provide individual and group psycho-education. Assist patients
with completion of safety plans Help with explaining and completing
legal documents and consents at admission. Culture of Excellence

revenue. Education and Experience Associates degree in human service
related field and/or 3 years of behavioral health experience.
Certification and Licensure Certified Nursing Assistant Approved CPR or
BLS certification required within 90 days Verbal de-escalation,
self-defense and control techniques training within 90 days. Skills and
