assisting with the recruitment process of an in-home caregiver for a
fellow community member. Start slowly while building a wonderful rapport
with the individual, as the relationship grows, so do your hours! Hours:
Wednesday 10:30a-1:00p/Sunday 7:30a-12p (with potential for additional
hours) Pay: $16.50 per hour Tasks include but are not limited to:
Dressing Showering Transfers with ceiling lift Personal cares Meal/snack
preparation Activities/ Companion Care Building a positive, sustainable
relationship Ideal Candidate: Christian Healthcare experience preferred
(will train the right individual) Great sense of humor Understanding and
Compassionate Reliable transportation/valid drivers license Must pass
Wisconsin background check. Community Horizons offers support for
individuals enrolled in self-directed programs through Managed Care
Organizations or IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-direct) throughout
Wisconsin. Self-direction gives program participants the choice over who
provides services and how they receive them. Community Horizons is not
the employer on record, members make all hiring decisions with the
involvement of a third-party fiscal agent responsible for payroll.
