Dingwell s North America is currently taking applications for a Welder person for our Superior, WI manufacturing facility. Qualified candidate must be able to weld in a productive and safe manner to produce parts that meet our quality requirements at the lowest cost, in a timely manner, while minimizing waste of materials and resources. If you have hands-on custom fabrication experience, we d like to meet you. Responsibilities: Plans work duties by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and welding parameters. Set-up, adjust and operate welders on a variety of materials within a department. Follow set-up procedures and recommend improvements. Read and understand layouts, job packets and blueprints for the parts being fabricated. Provide accurate inventory counts at all times and keep parts in appropriate parts storage areas. Perform quality checks on parts with the use of a variety of inspection equipment. Assist in process development with engineers, quality technicians and supervisors. Perform necessary side operations as required. Perform daily maintenance of machines as required and keeps supervisor informed of necessary maintenance beyond operator assigned maintenance. Work as a team member to aid all shifts and support personnel to operate to the departmental standards including quality and productivity goals. Maintain a clean, safe work area. Performs other duties as assigned.
