Price Risk Solutions Associate Role:

Our Price Risk Solutions program enables the individual to build relationships with internal and external customers to assess price drivers and navigate risk in commodity markets. It is the blending of skills and knowledge in a fast paced, dynamic working environment. The Price Risk Solutions associate will practice and grow their understanding in economics, communications, customer service, risk assessment, and decision-making.

Your Work:

Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Analyze supply and demand, survey market conditions, and other economic forces in order to assess and communicate customer price risk related to commodity market pricing

Learn customer segmentation and ways to assess customer risk profiles

Utilize trading platforms and Cargill Risk Management pricing structures to execute Cargill hedges in the futures market related to customer price risk

Work in conjunction with the Price Risk Solutions team to achieve yearly profit targets

Provide timely and effective communication and interaction with other Cargill teams such as sales, trading, commercial, contracting, and trade product control

Make occasional plant and external customer visits

Complete projects that are critical to improvements in work processes, market analysis, and customer interaction

Complete and collaborate on other projects and assignments as needed

Compensation

The expected salary for this position is $70,000. The disclosed salary has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

Office setting

Majority of work week will be in office but there will be flexibility for hybrid work arrangements

Required Qualifications:

Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer

Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an accredited program graduating between December 2024 to August 2025.  

Candidates must be geographically flexible and willing to relocate to Wayzata, MN, if applicable, for opportunity

Ability to work optimally with individuals from a diverse set of backgrounds and cultures

Preferred Qualifications:
