Description Bolton & Menk has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Survey Technician, to join our in our Rochester office. What You Will Be Doing: Produces complete and detailed engineering drawings. Performs complex and detailed engineering design computations, detailed drafting and plan production work. Performs project layout and preliminary design (i.e. feasibility reports, proposals). Actively participates in the development and coordinating the preparation of plans and specifications for routine projects. Prepares quantity take-offs and cost estimates. Provides technical advice regarding construction modifications and repairs to clients, contractors, and project engineers. Travels periodically to work site and other project related locations. What We Are Looking For: Associates degree in Civil Engineering Technology or equivalent OR Fifteen (15) years of related experience or seventeen (17) years of related construction experience. DOT level 1 Technician Certification in Bituminous, Concrete, Grading & Base construction within one (1) years of employment. Thorough knowledge of design and construction techniques and procedures. Thorough knowledge in project related regulatory, funding and legal requirements. Working knowledge and skills in CAD and design software. (i.e. AutoCAD Civil3D, MicroStation) Excellent interpersonal written & verbal communication skills. Excellent time management, organizational and problem solving skills. Thorough knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite. (MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint) Possess a valid drivers license as travel to various facilities and job sites may be required. WHY BOLTON & MENK?
