CDL Driver/Energy Service Tech

POSITION OVERVIEW
Envision Cooperative is looking for a full time Energy Service Technician/CDL Driver to be based at the Mohall Location. The Energy Service Technician/CDL Drivers objective is to help deliver Propane and Fuel to customers as well as setting up and/or servicing customer tanks and systems. The Energy Service Technician/CDL Driver provides and promotes Energy related services to customers in a manner that will optimize the cooperatives market share and savings, improve the cooperatives efficiency, help achieve the cooperatives mission and goals, and result in outstanding customer service. This individual will maintain a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the cooperative and a favorable image of the cooperative.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales and Service
Operate equipment designed for the movement and transportation of petroleum products.
Maintain delivery schedules to customers in a manner which will result in increased satisfaction.
Stay knowledgeable in all product updates.
Clear all major bids with your supervisor.
Keep all customers supplied with product and encourage repeat sales.
Document and maintain records of customer energy related information.
Understand and comply with all government regulations when delivering and hauling petroleum products as well as while servicing tanks.
Handle customer complaints in a respectful manner and report all complaints to the Energy Division Manager.
Set tanks and perform gas checks as needed.
Reporting and Inventory
Turn in and promptly invoice all sales tickets and present a copy of each invoice to the customer after each delivery.
Submit daily trip logs and vehicle maintenance reports to the supervisor.
Assist in the loading/unloading and verification of shipments/freight that arrives.
Assist in picking up and delivering equipment and products.
Assist in transferring inventory between our facilities.
Safety and Maintenance
Help ensure equipment is in good operating condition and follow a regular maintenance schedule.
Ensure that property, facilities, and equipment remain in good repair and appearance.
Always follow and adhere to all federal, state, and OSHA regulations.
Use care in handling fuel, gasoline, and propane, and ensure no product spills.
Report all spills and accidents to the Energy Division Manager
Other Duties
Provide the services necessary to meet the department and customer goals.
Submit all required operational reports to management within a timely manner.
Provide additional support to the Energy Team.
Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the Energy Divison Manager.
Always follow and adhere to DOT and FMCSA Regulations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability and willingness to learn new software applications and technologies.
Excellent organizational skills, communication skills, the ability to multi-task.
The ability to work well individually and in a team setting for many hours.
A valid Commercial Drivers License, or ability to obtain one.
HazMat (Hazardous Materials) Endorsement, or ability to obtain one.
ADDITIONAL DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge and/or experience in an Energy/Petroleum related field or as a CDL Driver.
Experience with AgVantage Software is beneficial.
