Public Works Operator

Assist in daily maintenance of city water treatment plant. Check lift stations, city well, water treatment plant and sewage lagoon on a regular basis. Repair and maintain city equipment as needed. Provide snow plowing services for snow removal from city streets, mow city-owned lots and properties, collect trash from city residents and businesses, clean and flush water hydrants, maintain city streets and signs and repair and maintain city sewer and water lines as necessary. Perform duties in a safe manner following generally accepted safety guidelines and provided equipment.
