Housekeeping Aide

DUTIES INCLUDE:

– Perform daily cleaning tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming and sanitizing in accordance with established protocols and standards
– Utilize janitorial and custodial experience to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff
– Demonstrate proficiency in floor care techniques, including sweeping, mopping and buffing to ensure the cleanliness and appearance of all surfaces
– Execute commercial cleaning duties with attention to detail and thoroughness, focusing on high-touch areas and communal spaces
– Apply industrial cleaning skills to address specific needs within the facility, such as rust removal and maintenance of equipment
– Contribute to facilities maintenance by promptly reporting any repair or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel
– Utilize porter experience to assist with the upkeep of the premises, including waste removal and recycling efforts
– Collaborate with the maintenance team to support ongoing upkeep and repairs as needed
– Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing duties to ensure a secure and hazard-free environment for all occupants

Full-time position.
