Job Title: Assistant Medical Director
Job Description
With supervision, oversees the direction, planning, execution, and interpretation of clinical trials or research activities of a clinical development program. Participates in cross-functional teams to generate, deliver, and interpret high-quality clinical data supporting overall product scientific and business strategy.
Responsibilities
Manages design and implementation of study protocols for clinical development program with appropriate supervision.
Oversees project-related education of investigators, study site personnel, and study staff from early translational development until maturity.
Monitors overall study integrity and reviews, interprets, and communicates accumulating data on safety and efficacy.
Oversees study enrollment and timelines for key deliverables in collaboration with Clinical Operations.
Assesses and reports serious adverse events per corporate policy and regulations.
Contributes to design, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of scientific content in protocols and regulatory submissions.
Participates as the clinical representative on Clinical Strategy Teams and in opinion leader interactions related to disease areas.
Stays updated on professional information and technology to enhance expertise in the therapeutic area.
Ensures adherence to regulatory requirements, Good Clinical Practices, and other quality standards in conducting research.
