Shift Schedule:

A & B Shifts: 6 AM to 6 PM (12 Hour Shift)

C & D Shifts: 6 PM to 6 AM (12 Hour Shift)

1st Shift: 6 AM – 2 PM

2nd Shift: 2 PM – 10 PM

3rd Shift: 10 PM – 6 AM

Shift Breakdown:

Week 1: Monday – Work, Tuesday – Work, Wednesday – Off, Thursday – Off, Friday – Work, Saturday – Work, Sunday – Work

Week 2: Monday – Off, Tuesday – Off, Wednesday – Work, Thursday – Work, Friday – Off, Saturday – Off, Sunday – Off

Pay Rate:

$31.06/Hour

Night shift premium added after training period (1 – 3 months, dependent on skill level)

Job Responsibilities:

Follow all standard work practices and procedures, including hot work permit system, proper startup and shutdown of plant equipment, confined space policy, Lockout Tagout procedures, Critical Safety Rules, plant and department safety rules, PPE, MSDS Policy and Procedures, plant fire protection system alarms, and diesel pump.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on machines and equipment.

Lookup crib parts in the computer on SAP, sign parts out properly, and pass on jobs in an orderly fashion.

Perform minor electrical work as needed with proper training (e.g., unwire and rewire direct replacement parts such as valves, photo eyes, small motors).

Rebuild pumps, change mechanical seals, and troubleshoot and repair extrusion vacuum loading systems.

Understand the application of hydraulic and pneumatic valves on machinery, Punch Presses, and Extruders.

Rebuild and change blades on granulators and blowers, install coating rolls and nip rolls, use micrometers and other measuring tools, bore and broach gears and sprockets, machine and fabricate parts to tolerances of ±.001, and weld with MIG and arc welding machines.

Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, Punch Presses, and Extruders, conduct hoist inspections, replace and align motors, unjam scrap lines, change cyclone and baler filters, and perform pipefitting including tubing and hydraulic fittings.

Comply with all plant rules, safety rules, GMP and PPE guidelines, and department work instructions.

Work as directed by the Department Supervisor and as assigned by the shift Lead.

Perform housekeeping duties and practice good housekeeping by cleaning up after all jobs.

Understand the roles and actions of different individuals for plant emergency response.

Gain knowledge of asbestos locations and radioactive devices in the plant and proper handling procedures.

Know the domestic water system and main gas shutoff locations.
