About the Role:

We are seeking experienced CNC Machinists to joing our team to become a Press Operator. The ideal candidates will have a understanding of CNC Operations and have a willingness to learn and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

Ensure safe and efficient operation of press equipment.

Troubleshoot and resolve print-related issues.

Train and mentor junior crew members.

Follow safety regulations and enforce safety procedures.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Press Operator.

Understanding of press operations and equipment.

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.

Basic math skills.

Leadership and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with CNC machining.

Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures.

Responsibilities

Includes but is not limited to: using the Inch-Safe-Service method while washing blankets or any other time it is required; following Lockout/Tagout procedures when necessary; maintaining proper placement of machine guards; ensuring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is properly worn when necessary; following and enforcing the Safety Rules.

Performs and/or oversees all tasks associated with operating the press equipment in support of the production goals related to safety, setup, line speed, waste, web breaks and downtime

Responsible for the completion of tasks identified on Standard Processes.

Ensures that press crew is capable of completing their assigned tasks and that the standard process sequence is followed under normal circumstances.

Ensures that rollers are maintained in good condition and set properly as dictated by the PM process

Inspects printed quality of jobs including folds, cleanliness, color and registration

Ensures press is re-webbed correctly, safely and efficiently

Ensures that proper plates are mounted correctly and accurately
