We seek a Pharmacy Clerk to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5pm

Location: 3100 NE 83RD ST STE 1200 KANSAS CITY, MO 64119

Primary Responsibilities:

support or lead those who are performing various duties related to the fulfillment of prescription orders to entail selling of completed prescriptions at point of sale and inventory controls to be in compliance with state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures

May also perform drug/supply ordering and inventory/warehouse duties, including proper storage of drugs and supplies and appropriate refrigeration of perishable product, monitor and adjust/calibrate pharmacy equipment

Applies knowledge/skills to activities that often vary from day to day

Demonstrates a moderate level of knowledge and skills in own function

Requires little assistance with standard and non-standard requests

Solves routine problems on own

Works with supervisor to solve more complex problems

Prioritizes and organizes own work to meet agreed upon deadlines

Works with others as part of a team

Required Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Missouri OR ability to obtain Missouri Board of Pharmacy technician licensure within 1 month of hire

Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications:

National Pharmacy Technician Certification
