Job Title: Landfill Gas Technician

Job Description

This is an opportunity with a large environmental consulting firm that is seeking a Landfill Gas Technician or Landfill Field Technician. The role involves traveling and working on landfill projects and maintaining gas collection systems at landfills within TX, OK, MO, KS and AR. Candidates must be willing to travel extensively and be mechanically inclined, landfill gas experience is highly valued. This position offers per diem with meals covered at $55/day and company-covered hotel accommodations.

Hard Skills

Driving (company pick-up truck)

Walking extensively on the landfill slopes

Lifting and carrying equipment/mechanical components (up to 50 lbs. unassisted)

Pipe fusion

Pump maintenance and replacement

Gas well tuning

Flare maintenance

Soft Skills

Willingness to travel extensively

Mechanically inclined

Ability to write daily reports and communicate effectively to leadership in other states

Work Sites:

This is a travel role that will be working across several states (T X, OK, MO, KS and AR) . Per Diem and Hotels paid.
