Due to being a 2nd shift position, the person awarded this job will receive the shift differential pay, which is an extra 10%.
The Maintenance Mechanic position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the sites business goals and objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving skills. Strong machining, welding, and fabrication skills. Electrical background preferred. Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing atmosphere are required. Plumbing experience and a Strong Electrical background with conduit installation and PLC experience preferred.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups or employees of organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Skilled at multitasking and willing to work in a fast paced team environment. Capable of taking direction as well as working with minimal supervision.
