DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
CONSTRUCTION SERVICES PRACTICE
Michael Baker Internationals Construction Services staff supports clients by acting as their trusted on-site agent through all phases of construction, from pre-design to close-out, by providing qualified construction managers, inspectors, constructability reviewers, schedulers, estimators and safety experts. As new technologies evolve throughout the construction industry, innovative ideas are required to maintain and deliver successful construction projects.
DESCRIPTION
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Construction Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing CPM scheduling services to a variety of clients. Responsibilities of the position may include:
Review and understand conceptual plans, scope documents, and designs for various construction projects.
Facilitate the review and analysis of project schedules.
Evaluate Time Impact Analyses (TIAs) and Time Extension Requests.
Review and update baseline and execution schedules, including monthly updates.
Develop and maintain critical path logic networks and bar charts.
Conduct critical path and float analysis, generating corresponding reports.
Communicate schedule status to project management and clients.
Analyze historical data to support future planning and forecasting.
Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
5 years of relevant experience.
Extensive knowledge and experience with Primavera P6 and Excel.
Basic engineering knowledge in electrical, mechanical, civil, or related fields.
Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Individual contributor role.
Compensation
The approximate compensation range for this position is $85,000 – $129,000. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
