PLRC Enrichment Coordinator

 

The Pittsburgh Liver Research Center is searching for an Enrichment Program Coordinator to manage all travel and expense reporting for PLRC faculty and guests as well as assist the PLRC Administrator in collection of annual member updates, membership roster, email list, newsletter, website updates and other official PLRC related duties as needed. The incumbent will coordinate with all internal and external constituents to plan all aspects of our weekly seminar series visits as well as annual retreats, Scientific Interest Group meetings, Receptions, EAB visits, DDRCC meetings. This includes scheduling various faculty meetings, dinners, ground transportation, hotel reservations, etc. for the visiting scholars and our membership as needed. The incumbent will also reserve the rooms, catering and audio-visual equipment for each seminar presentation. In addition, the incumbent will manage all travel and expense reporting for both internal and external sources of the PLRC. This includes reimbursing the expenses of visiting scholars, external advisory board members, and travel expenses for internal PLRC faculty for annual meetings. The incumbent will assist the PLRC Administrator in collection of annual updates of members, maintaining the membership roster, newsletter generation and dissemination, website updates and maintenance as needed.

Must have excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects at one time. Knowledge of University of Pittsburgh and UPMC policies a plus.

Job Summary

Coordinates all event logistics for meetings, conferences, seminars, and special events; arranges logistics related to the facilities, speakers, technology, equipment, transportation, and personnel; and schedules all events. Manages marketing materials, event set ups, and event activities.

Physical Effort

Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to travel between buildings on campus and nearby businesses.
