Experienced/Inexperienced Underground Coal Miners

JENNMAR Services, a staffing company specializing in employee placement for the energy industry, is currently seeking Experienced and Inexperienced Underground Coal Miners for the Grantsville, MD  area. These are full-time positions with competitive salary and benefits available.

– $24/hr RH
– $28/hr BH

Job Responsibilities for Experienced (Black Hat) and Inexperienced (Red Hat) Miners:

– General labor
– Roller and screen changes
– Belt work
– Overcasts
– Seal preparation
– Scoop operating
– Bolting
– Other laborer duties as required

Job Requirements Experienced (Black Hat) and Inexperienced (Red Hat) Miners:

– Underground PA or WV Experienced Miner or Apprentice Miner Certification in state of PA or WV required
– Valid Drivers License
– Able to work any shifts, including weekends and holidays required.
– Ability to pass background and drug & alcohol testing required.
