Procurement/Contract Analyst
Centre County Government
– Responsible for reviewing accuracy and maintaining county contracts which includes recordkeeping, database, and confirming budget status.
– Informs the Director of Budget & Finance of contract status, listing by department of all active and expiring contracts, and recording Certificates of Insurance.
– Coordinates professional bid process for compliance with the County code.
– Assists with the preparation, reviewing, and proofing of bid packets.
– Facilitates the process for legal documents regarding bid awards and creating notices to bidding agencies.
– Posts general accounting data as required which may include inventory and purchase orders.
– Verifies that transactions are complaint with County policies and procedures.
– Prepares reports and financial data as required; assists with preparation of special reports and the County budget.
– Produces information for internal departments and outside sources as directed by supervisor.
– Performs a variety of departmental clerical duties.
– · Prepares reports and financial statements as necessary.
– Assists other departments with financial questions.
– Assists auditors with research and needed information for federal and state agencies.
– Assists in general office administrative duties.
– Performs other job-related duties as required.
