The Material Handler moves material to production line to support manufacturing through operation of all warehouse handling equipment, which includes forklifts of various types (regular & stand-up), hand trucks, pallet jacks, large roller ladders, etc.
Other duties include:
– Look up/research POs, specific inventory items and inventory by location.
– Receive shipments into system on applicable POs.
– Run/create and complete data entry for “Needs List” reports.
– Make inventory and/or location corrections as needed.
– Print applicable product inventory/identification labels.
– Unload trucks/inbound freight, verify package quantities against BOL.
– Verify package quantities/contents/part numbers against Packing List.
– Apply applicable product identification labels on received items.
– Identify and move/locate/store applicable Inspection and Medical items accordingly.
– Locate/move/pull inventory items to/from applicable storage locations.
– Deliver items to applicable requesting Production floor locations.
Hours are Monday through Thursday, 5:30am-4pm
Education: Must have High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience: Prefer 2 years of experience in manufacturing or related warehouse experience
Certification: Prior Forklift Certification
