THE POSITION
The Department of Military and Veterans Affairs (DMVA) is seeking an individual with strong attention to detail and organizational skills to join our amazing team. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Facility Reimbursement Technician, you will complete, assist, and verify accuracy of all new admission assessments of the monthly maintenance fees and ensure that all admission documents are compiled and completed accurately. You will also oversee and assist in the collection of maintenance fees and attendance payments to ensure accountability for reconciliation of payments for revenue transmittal through official receipts via maintenance fee worksheets and actual monetary collections. In addition, you will respond to inquiries either by phone or written correspondence as they pertain to monthly charges, estate billing, and complaints.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment (7.5 hours/day; 37.5 hours/week)
Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
Three years of experience involving public contact work in the billing and collection of financial accounts or debts; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training. Completion of college-level work with major course work in business administration, finance, accounting, health care management, or a related field may be substituted for required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Legal Requirements:
A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
