As a member of our Bethesda, MD-based Enterprise Global Emergency Operations Center (GEOC) team, you will support our worldwide crisis management, international security, and threat analysis programs as a GEOC Operations Analyst during the 2nd shift. By joining our team, you will be part of a vital pillar within the Security Operations organization, contributing to our mission, vision, and strategy.
What you will do!:
Collaborate with the GEOC team to implement and maintain operating protocols based on lessons learned and best practices.
Lead GEOC incident response and product development during work hours and off-hours (on a rotating basis).
Conduct open-source research and analysis for threats against the corporation.
Support crisis management drills and exercises, as well as crisis management solutions that further the Security Operations teams strategy.
Collect and present metrics to enhance enterprise-wide engagement with crisis management teams and employee mass communication programs.
Communicate succinct analytical and persuasive reports, observations, and recommendations to leadership and business partners.
Establish and grow effective internal and external relationships that promote the safety and security of company personnel, facilities, assets, and interests.
Support Lockheed Martin sponsored special events through monitoring and mass communications.
Train a contract guard force as needed.

Your typical work schedule will be as follows:
•Monday: 1pm – 11pm
•Tuesday: 1pm – 11pm
•Wednesday: 1pm – 11pm
•Thursday: 1pm – 11pm

Basic Qualifications:
•Demonstrated experience in providing comprehensive analysis and research in areas such as industry, infrastructure, technology, geographic regions, biographic profiles, and targeted vulnerabilities.
•Proven ability to prepare well-informed assessments of current events, utilizing sophisticated collection, research, and analysis techniques with both classified and open-source information.
•Strong background in developing and maintaining analytical procedures, adapting to evolving requirements, and ensuring optimal operations.
•Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to present data effectively using a mix of standard intelligence methods and business processes.
•Relevant experience in crisis management, emergency management, or a related Operations Center environment.
A Secret-level clearance is required to carry out the duties associated with this role.
By meeting these qualifications, you will be well-positioned to contribute your analytical skills, experience, and clearance to support Lockheed Martins critical security mission as a GEOC Operations Analyst.
Desired Skills:
Experience presenting data in an innovative, visually
appealing, and persuasive manner is desirable, as is
advanced-level familiarity with MS Teams, MS Excel, PowerPoint and Graduate-level study in a relevant discipline is desired.
Experience with social media monitoring, such as X, Instagram, and alternative social media platforms, is desired.
Experience with mass notification, global information
systems and data visualization tools.
Creation of standard operating procedures
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4×10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $64,400 – $123,400. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidates work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
