General Description:

Tolin Mechanical, an established, well recognized and respected HVAC service contractor, is looking for an experienced Facility Engineer to join our Mid-Atlantic team at Chevy Chase . We are seeking a candidate who meets the qualifications listed below.

We have a solid team of experienced and respected technicians. Our business continues to grow, and we are looking for another solid technician that is interested in a long-term position and who will fit well into our team.

Facility Engineers are focused on service and delivering long-term technical solutions for our clients. They maintain, monitor, and perform preventative maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and more.

Summary of Job Functions and Equipment:

Preventive Maintenance

Troubleshooting

Mechanical: HVAC, plumbing, controls

Electrical: lighting, generators, primary switch gear

Hot water systems

Refrigeration

Hot water heaters

Pumps, valves, piping and filters

Variable Frequency Drives

Humidifiers

Maintain records and monitor equipment

Perform tests and rounds on building systems

Minimum qualifications :

Demonstrated ability to develop rapport and productive working relationships with clients, vendors, and co-workers.

Values and display exceptional customer service

Strong organization skills

Over 18 years of age

High School diploma or GED

1-2 years of experience in a building engineer capacity

Basic tool and maintenance skills

Strong written and verbal English skills

Comfortable working on computers

Valid drivers license with driving record in good standing

Compensation & Benefits:

Average Starting Rate: $24.00-$26.00 per hour. Combined experience, education, skills and knowledge will be taken into consideration.
