PRIMARY FUNCTION

The Explosives Hazardous Device Examiner (EHDE) will work on backlog cases writing official TEDAC FBI Laboratory Reports detailing the results of examination of the back-logged cases or closeout the cases as deemed necessary.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

– The EHDE would also write assessments as requested.

– The EHDE will also proofread reports of other device examiners for the technical and administrative accuracy on explosives components and terminology.

– The EHDE is responsible for performing both technical and administrative review of Forensic Explosive and Hazardous Device reports written by the other certified EU device examiners, verifying accuracy and compliance with the EU Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

QUALIFICATIONS:

– Active Top-Secret security clearance.

– Education: B.S. degree in science disciplines, criminal justice, or related field from accredited university/college.

– Experience: 5 or more years of relative direct work experience.
