Overview

To research, evaluate, design, implement, and maintain system and product solutions, applying knowledge of engineering principles. To provide technical direction and engineering support for projects and infrastructure. Develop and maintain working knowledge of evolving IT engineering industry technologies/competition, concepts and trends. Assist with troubleshooting of complex technical issues causing business impact or service degradation. Willingness to be a self-starter in a face paced technical team.

Responsibilities

Full life-cycle project management

Establish and lead project teams

Develop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communications

Procure and/or manage resources/timelines/deadlines/quality

Risk, Issue and Change management

Ensure successful project implementation

Scope of responsibility

Responsible for monitoring, maintaining, operating and troubleshooting daily remote access technologies.

Improving and adjusting the Virtual Desktop system

Accountable for applying, implementing, maintaining, and examining the documentation of the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure.

Apply engineering principles into the design and enhancement of new and existing systems

Document new system components, or modifications to existing components

Perform engineering tasks and assignments in support of business needs

Perform engineering technology research, procurement, deployment, and configuration for new and modified systems

Present clear, organized and concise information to all audiences through a variety of media to enable effective business decisions

Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Significant Citrix virtual applications and desktop experience. (Citrix Studio, Citrix Policies)

Significant Experience with Netscaler / networking experience (Netscaler policies)

Significant Experience with VMware

Significant Experience with ServiceNow request, incident, change, and asset management modules

Experience with PowerShell

Experience with SQL Server Management Studio and SQL query authoring

Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager

Experience with Group Policy Administration using GPOAdmin or equivalent

Comprehensive knowledge of administering and troubleshooting Windows 10 and 11

Willingness to be a self-starter and eagerness to learn new technologies

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Information Technology or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience

Expert database and presentation software skills

Expert organizational, planning and time management skills

Expert research, analytical, and problem solving skills

Expert skill exercising initiative and using good judgment to make sound decisions

Expert verbal and written communication skills

Expert word processing and spreadsheet software skills

Citrix Certified Expert (CCE)

Citrix Certified Expert – Virtualization (CCE-V)
