Your Role at KIK

The Forklift/Clamp Truck Operator is responsible for operating industrial forklifts to move materials around the manufacturing site. This role ensures the safe and efficient transportation of goods, adhering to all safety regulations and company standards. Key responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, organizing stock, conducting routine inspections of forklifts, and maintaining accurate records of inventory movements. You will play a crucial role in supporting the production and distribution processes by ensuring timely and accurate handling of products.

What You’ll Be Doing

Safely Operate Forklift and material handling equipment.

Conduct inventory tasks, including cycle counts and product checks.

Load and unload materials from trailers using a forklift truck, ensuring proper handling.

Efficiently move materials in and out of racking systems.

Execute loading documentation process, adhering to Hazmat rules.

Operate the plant’s warehouse management system and RFID technology.

Perform packing and quality checks to meet specified standards.

Hand stack palletized products as necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the facility

Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.

Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures, and Safety Standards, and follow all plant policies and procedures.

Follows and supports all Safety programs.

Other related duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Minimum of 1 year forklift experience.

Must be able to lift, push, pull, and or carry up to 45lbs.

Must be able to operate a forklift around co-workers, and other heavy mechanical and electrical equipment for extended periods up to 12 hours.

Must be able to visually concentrate, remain alert, and listen intensely for extended periods of time.

Must be able to stand, sit, lift, bend, crouch, reach, and climb consistently for extended periods up to 12 hours.

Must be able to grasp and manipulate a variety of packaging components (ie. sprayers, bottles, caps).

Must be able to speak, read, write, and follow detailed written and oral instructions in English.

Must be able to work overtime where necessary.

May require working around chemicals producing unpleasant odors.

May require working in a non-temperature controlled environment, including high temperatures and humidity for extended periods.

May require working around high noise levels, depending on location.

Will require constant interaction with a variety of chemicals and chemical products.

Must be willing to work second shift Monday – Friday 4:00pm – 2:30am.
