Job Posting: Activity Coordinator
Ministry: Trinity Health and LIFE St. Joseph of the Pines (LSJP)
Position Purpose:
As an Activity Coordinator at LSJP, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our frail elderly participants. You will be responsible for assessing their needs and interests while promoting tailored activity programs that support their cognitive, social, and physical well-being.
What You Will Do:
Plan and implement group and individual activities to foster socialization and lifelong learning.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless activity programming.
Develop monthly activity calendars and maintain documentation for care plans.
Execute all tasks in alignment with LSJPs mission and values, while cultivating a warm and engaging environment.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent; 2 years of experience in social or recreational programming for the elderly.
Certification by NAAP or a relevant state-approved training course preferred.
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently, manage conflict, and adapt to changing priorities.
