Job Overview

TE Connectivitys Assembly Teams operate assigned automated assembly machinery, ensure component flow, troubleshoot and correct machinery issues to ensure quality and productivity. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivitys EH&S policies and procedures.

ROLE STATEMENT: TE Connectivitys Manufacturing Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform fiber optic testing and quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivitys EH&S policies and procedures. We manufacture Relays and Switches.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•     Terminating, polish and testing fiber optic cables.

•     Assembling and packaging fiber optic connector components

KEY SKILLS:

•     Candidate should demonstrate proficiency terminating single and multi-fiber cables.

•     Ability to recognize common fiber connectors.

•     Working knowledge of cleaning methods and contamination assessment for optical assembly

What your background should look like:

Experience/Education:

•     Must be US person due to access to products and technology controlled under the ITAR & EAR

•     High School Diploma or GED.

•     2 years’ manufacture cable, connectors, or switches experience required!

•     2 years’ experience with Manufacturing fiber cables.

•     Fiber Optics cable manufacturing work experience is required.

•     SAP Manufacturing & ISO 9001 experience is preferred.

•     Working knowledge of hand tools and blueprint reading.

•     Will work overtime to support production goals as needed.

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $33,280 – $35,360 (subject to change dependent on physical location)

• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

• Total Compensation = Base Salary Incentive(s) Benefits
