A week in the life of a Cybersecurity Engineer:

Prepare, implement, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policy, to include Assessment and Authorization requirements.

Plan, implement, upgrade, and/or monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network.

Assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies.

Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure.

Respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports.

Job Requirements

Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance

Masters in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Mathematics degree

IAT Level III (CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED,GCIH, CCSP)

10 years of experience in: Cybersecurity, Risk Management Framework (RMF) Authority To Operate (ATO) and security assessments

Cloud Experience: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, Google Platform (GCP) and Microsoft
