A week in the life of a Information Systems Security Specialist:

Develop and implement a set of techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software

Conduct data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to extract and analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets

Perform software integration or testing, including analyzing and implementing test plans and scripts

Visualize, interpret, and report data findings; Create dynamic data reports.

Job Requirements

Active TS/SCI Clearance

Bachelors degree in a technical or managerial related discipline [Note: a high school diploma or HS equivalency certificate is acceptable with additional years of experience as defined in the next category).

IAT Level II (CCNA-Security, CySA, GICSP, GSEC, Security CE, CND, SSCP)

7 years of experience in in a Cybersecurity, Engineering, Test and Evaluation or Assessment & Authorization

Hands on experience with Information Assurance tools such as DISA Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service

(eMASS) and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)

Cloud Experience: Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, Google Platform (GCP) and Microsoft 365
