IT Vistex Business Consultant II with Boehringer Ingelheim USA Corporation in Duluth, GA (Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from this office 20% of the time)

Job Duties : Influences IT-related business decisions through a consistent and direct engagement of clients at all levels in the SAP Order-to-Cash/Vistex Pricing and Rebates business domain. Demonstrates a thorough understanding of that business domain, including key business processes, and develops an understanding of interactions with surrounding business domains. Achieves influence through an acknowledged recognition of client needs and corresponding IT opportunities. Communicates with clients in business terms. Independently proposes improved business processes, and with supervision, proposes new business processes, introducing innovation where possible. Addresses all other aspects of the IT Business Partnering Business Consultancy role. Independently for a small project and with supervision for a large project, plans, organizes and oversees resources to achieve the goals and objectives of that project. Addresses all other aspects of the IT Business Partnering Project Manager role. Performs baseline activities utilizing implemented SAP systems supporting Vistex Pricing and Rebates processes. Performs administrative and maintenance tasks for assigned applications. Troubleshoots application and system problems to determine the cause of problems and routes issues to the appropriate resource. Independently performs a liaison function between the business and internal providers of technical services. In close partnership with key business stakeholders, matches and independently prioritizes demands on IT services to maximize value to the business. Addresses all other aspects of the IT Business Partnering Demand Management role. Demonstrates Domain Architect capabilities as per IT Business Partnering Domain Architect role. Demonstrates Program Management capabilities as per IT Business Partnering Program Management role. Telecommuting permitted: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the Boehringer Ingelheim USA Corporation office in Duluth, GA 20% of the time.

Work Schedule : 40 hours per week (8:00am to 5:00pm)

Job Requirements : Bachelors degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Must have experience with: working with Vistex Pricing and Rebates module, including Dynamic Pricing and Data Maintenance for Pricing submodules; applying Order Management business process knowledge and technology solutions in addressing business issues; working with IT consultant resources and external technical personnel in a fast-paced and complex project environment; managing priorities and projects across multiple distinct business areas; developing and managing relationships within IT organization and supported businesses; applying understanding of system design, development, and implementation methodologies, all phases of System Project Implementation and Life Cycle, and computer system validation and regulatory requirements; applying understanding of SAP products, including S/4HANA, API, Fiori, Cloud Solution, and Integration with Middleware, and their applicability to the business; using Agile working methodology, such as Scrum; and working in pharmaceutical and life science industry. 10% domestic and international travel required.
