Finisher/Laminator

Job Description

A Finisher is responsible for finishing various materials using methods such as staining (wiping/dye stains), applying sealer, sanding sealer, and applying a clear coat. A Laminator is responsible for cutting laminate to the appropriate size, prepping the substrate, applying glue, applying laminate, and trimming excess materials if needed using a trim router.

Hard Skills

Apply prime, stain, seal and spray clear coat to product

Quality checks

Ability to read and interpret drawings

Operate basic set of hand tools

Spray finish custom woodwork with lacquer-based products

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Powder Springs, Georgia.

Work Environment

1st shift 6:30 – 3:30 with a 1-hour lunch break. Very clean. Not temp controlled but not super hot or cold. Can wear shorts and a t-shirt.
