Sr Telecom Engineer

Job Description

A client of Insight Global is looking for an Sr. Telecom Engineer to join their Telecom Engineering team. This person will serve as the escalated POC past the engineering team and be responsible for not only troubleshooting escalated issues, but project work that involves looking at the infrastructure and making recommendations/creating solutions to help optimize the group and heighten efficiency. This person will also be concerned with the security issues and monitor those.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and be comfortable working with executives and third-party vendors. This person should have strong decision making and problem-solving skills as they will be leading initiatives.

The pay range for this role is between $50-60/hr. based on experience.

Skills and Requirements

10 years of experience as a Telecom Engineer

Experience troubleshooting escalated issues and working with third party vendors

Ability to make decisions and create/implement solutions

Strong experience with Avaya and Telecom infrastructure

Strong experience with Palo Alto especially as it relates to security

Experience with configurations and implementations

Experience with MS Suite and Cloud technologies

Strong communication Background/knowledge in networking

Cyber Security Certifications

Cloud Certifications null
